With a background in engineering, Juliette discovered her passion for communications whilst on an analyst graduate scheme at EDF Energy. Digital and social communications has since been a strong focus as she has progressed her career in media relations. As “digital champion” within EDF’s communications team, she led their social media and wider digital engagement, including campaigns during the 2012 Olympics. She joined Ørsted in 2016, managing external communications for multi-billion pound renewable energy projects, whilst leading the offshore wind major’s UK social media, growing its Twitter followers by 40% in less than 12 months. She progressed to head of UK media relations, managing a team covering all UK external communications, social and digital media, and winning multiple awards for her work in communications. Currently in between roles she is looking forward to taking up a new position in April as Equinor’s Head of Communications for New Energy Solutions in the UK. Juliette also sits on the Steering Committee for the Young Energy Professionals Forum and is passionate about improving diversity within the energy industry.
