Nikki is an award-winning digital editor and content strategist, with 12 years of experience in audience development, social media strategy, software development, traffic trends, app development, product testing and design, usability and SEO, with an extensive background in digital content curation for global news platforms.
She started her career as a national newspaper journalist at Express Newspapers, before leading the way in transforming print-only titles into some of the UK’s most successful digital news platforms and channels. Following that, Nikki moved on to Yahoo EMEA to become Head of Audience Development and Social, developing the award-winning engagement strategy for global news titles.
Nikki joined (then) tech startup Percolate in 2015 to help build one of the first content marketing software platforms, acting as a trusted strategic advisor to some of the world’s largest organisations.
In 2018, Nikki joined Shell’s Digital CoE as their global Digital and Social Media Advisor, upskilling the business in omnichannel content strategy and development.
