Bharat Tewarie

Dr. Bharat Tewarie is the Founder of Boston BioPharma Consultants advising executives of BioPharma and medical device companies to provide deeper insights, drive performance and measurable impact. The advisory covers the commercialization spectrum from corporate and brand strategy, orchestrating winning product and medical device launches, reinventing the patient experience in the digital age, crisis communication, strategic competitive intelligence and commercial capability building.

Bharat is a medical doctor with a MBA by training. He has held positions with increasing commercial responsibilities at local affiliates and global headquarters in Europe and USA at companies such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Roche and Merck Serono. During the last 5 years, he worked for UCB as the Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer and member of the Executive Committee.

He has an appointment as a Visiting Research Scholar at Brandeis University, Heller School for Social Policy & Management in Boston and is a Mentor to LifeScience & Technology CEO’s at the Endless Frontier Lab at the New York University, Stern School of Business.

At present he also serves as member of the Board of Advisors for Duluth Medical Technologies and Ahara Biosciences. Recently he became a member of the Board of Directors of Alveo Technologies – a company developing a low-cost, easy-to-use, at-home diagnostic platform with an initial focus on acute respiratory infections, including COVID-19, Influenza A/B and RSV.
